It's how sensitive the calculated intercept point will be, based on the car's speed. You can test it on a training pack that gives you a sideways aerial shot, then use the aerial bot to get to the target. The best setting would be based on your playstyle, if you're full-on boosting, a more stable (lower interpolation speed) point would be better.
